Joseph C. Long is the Veterans’ Business Outreach Director
Joe Long is responsible for assisting veterans who want to start their own business or expand an existing operation. The Roswell native served 37 years on active-duty and with reserve units of the U.S. Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. He is a Purple Heart recipient from the Vietnam War who also served in the Gulf War and Somalia. Long has served in senior-level positions at Camp Pendleton, California, the Marine Forces/Pacific (MARFORPAC) in Hawaii, and United States Central Command (CENTCOM) in Tampa, Florida. He was also the Project Manager for the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
